Ordering our LG side by side US style fridge freezer could not have been easier. Telephone staff very knowledgeable about product and similar rival products, offered helpful advice. Chosen item was out of stock so we were offered a superior product at the same price - £200 less than the high street. Delivered on time in A1 condition. Just be aware that delivery of US style fridges does not include door removal for narrow doorways

Goods arrived within 5 mins of the allocated time slot for delivery. Contact with Customer support very helpful. Knew status of order within very short time and could advise accurately on what happening.

The problem that we encountered was the delivery of such a large item. We clearly needed more help than just the driver.We did have 2 persons to receive the item but needed a trolley to get it in the house. Doorstep delivery is not good for something so large.

I ordered my appliance on the Monday lunchtime and had my order confirmed by email within the hour. I had a phone call on the Tuesday to arrange delivery and it arrived on the Wednesday, within the time slot agreed, by a very courtious courier. First Class.

I would have preferred a definite delivery slot at the time of purchase but a telephone call from Appliance City confirmed delivery in a very short timescale so it was not a problem in the event.

I made a mistake when choosing what model of washing machine to order, applicance city were excellent in helping deal with the error I had made.

This was the first time we had made a purchase with Appliance City we are very happy with the excellent quick service also product was a great deal cheaper than high street stores, great aftersales service.

Absolutely no problems. The goods were delivered in good condition and on time.

The web site was clear and easy to use, the company was proactive in keeping me up to date with the order and the delivery was right on time. I was even given a mobile contact number for the driver but didn't need to use it as he arrived during the hour window I was given. Only gripe was that they only deliver to ground floor properties. As I'm in a flat on the second floor it was a job getting the fridge up stairs. However, it's there working beautifully and was a great price so I'm very happy.

Prices are very competitive, but I was led to believe delivery would be within 1-2 weeks. My order was placed approx 3 weeks ago, and as yet no-one has contacted me.

I wanted a Siemens Single Oven and Gas Hob for a new kithcen. I Was apprehensive about ordering over the Net, but the price on offer was too good compared to local traders. I Need not have worried, as I found sales extremely helpful & knowledgeable (Richard). Items were in stock, ready for immediate delivery - compared to other e-traders (7-12 days)this was superb turnaround time. I got the items 48 hours after order,(after courtesy call from Michelle to advise of delivery time) in perfect condition. I would recommend this trader without hesitation.

Product arrived in good condition with helpful delivery assistant who although only required to perform a doorstep delivery actually transferred the unit into the kitchen to minimise installation efforts.

Good prices, good sales side of website. Tracking on website non-existent and the staff on the phone when I tracked my order that way were pretty poor too. I would buy from them again now I know I will get my goods but it was a pretty nerve-wracking first experience.

I found shopping at Appliance City an easy and pleasant experience with prompt delivery and would certainly use them again.To improve the service even more the cost of delivery should be readily available.

Initially I refused the delivery date as my husband could not be there to help get the fridge up the step and through the door and I was aware that it was doorstep delivery only. However I was assured that the driver do it for me so accepted the time slot. Of course, in the event, the driver could not move such a large piece alone and fortunately I was able to find a neighbour at home to help. I am happy with the fridge and the delivery man was very helpful, but I do feel we were all unfairly pressured into an awkward situation. No doubt had I been forced to return the fridge, I would have also been charged more on top.

I chose this supplier because they offered the product cheaper than other suppliers. After a few days I telephoned to get a date for delivery but was told item was out of stock and expected in about 8 December. It was agreed delivery should be week beginning 13 December. I have heard nothing further from the firm and will have to telephone again tomorrow 14 December. I do not feel that I should be doing the telephoning, if the item is not in stock the firm should keep me informed and give me the opportunity to go to another supplier if they cannot meeet the order in a reasonable time. I do not think over two weeks is reasonable. You should contact me again for my final opinion when I have had the opportunity to speak to the firm again.
