Good, although I was e-mailed to say there was a problem with the order. When I rang Hull I was told that the item was out of stock; this was immediately amended to say that a fresh supply was being received and it would be delivered after all. No real problem but I should have been told immediately the reason for the problem.

It was easy to find the article I wanted, the description of the item was concise and easy to understand. Ordering and delivery information was easy and they delivered when they said they would. The courier was excellent & contacted me to say he was on his way & then again when he arrived. All in all, it was an excellent experience & I would have no hesitation to use this website again.

it was a pleasant shopping experience, finding what we were looking for quick and easierly. The overall ordering and payment was quick and easy to follow. In all we were very satisfied. The only sllight disappointment was that the goods were not delivered in the time frame promised. Which if I had had other committments that day would have made things very difficult.

I wasn't pleased because I selected a delivery time at a high cost according to the time I was able to be home to receive the goods but they did not arrive until the afternoon, so I had the worry of whether they would arrive in time for me to go out to an appointment that could not be missed. I rang to find out what had happened and was told that my delivery charge would be refunded, but as yet this has not been received.

It was very easy. I don't often shop online so I thought it was going to be difficult but it was great. In fact the order came 2 days earlier than had been arranged. It was also a bit of a saving grace as I had been to quite a lot of shops and they had all sold out of the 4gb Nano so I couldn't get one anywhere, but I remember the sales guy in Comet when I asked him where the Nanos were, saying we don't have them in store buy we can order one for you. That made me check on your website. So thank you, it was my son's Christmas present ...
p.s. I've put don't know in the Customer Rating section as I didn't need to contact anybody ...

i ordered a variety of items to be delivered on the 23 december stayed in all day and didnt arrive. when i contacted you i was told the items had gone missing and they couldnt do anything till the wednesday when the firm you were using to delivered opened again.
when i asked about my money was told they have to investigate first. i shopped on line as at the momment have a lot of family health conditions and did not have time to shop. so on xmas eve i had to leave a sick father who was out on weekend leave from hospital for xmas with my mother and handicapped sister. i had to go and stand in que's to buy the items and also had to borrow the money for the items. i was told by your member of staff it was not your fault you supplied the good it was amtrax that was to blame. but i bought the goods from you not amtrax. the items then came at 8am on the wednesday morning no good to me what so ever and were sent back. this is now the 7th january and the money has still not been refunded into my account. i phoned at the begining of the week and someone told me that it was all cleared and would be put into my bank. it hasnt so no i am not happy. i also purchased a dyson a while back which does not pick up good when i used a freinds realised mine is not working properley i have sent an email to yourself asking how i go about getting it fixed and i still have had no reply. i have used you in the past with no problems i even told freinds to shop with you over the internet to save them problems but it has back fired on me

It was easy to order on line, the goods arrived during the time stated. The delivery men were wonderful, unpacking the fridge, putting it exactly where asked to and taking away the old one. A truely easy hassle free experience.

A TOTAL INCOMPETENT SERVICE FROM START TO FINISH. AFTER ACCEPTING MY OREDER I HAD TO CONSTATNTLY CONTATCT CUSTOMER SERVICES AND WAS GIVEN THE RUN-AROUND FROM ONE DEPT TO ANOTHER AS NO ONE SEEMED TO KNOW WHAT THEY WERE DOING.FROM AN ORDER PLACED ON THE 17TH DECEMBER AND CONTACT MADE ON THE 22ND BY ME AND PROMISES MADE THAT DELIVERY WOULD BE MET AND THEN ON THE 28TH CONTACT MADE AGAIN AND FURTHER PROMISE THAT MY GOODS HAD BEEN DESPATCHED AND THEN WHEN I CONTACTED ON THE 29TH TOLD GOODS WERE NOT EVEN IN STOCK WITH NO RE-STOCK DATE. THIS I FIND TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE AND TO ADD INSULT TO INJURY I WAS NEVER AT ANY TIME MADE AWARE THAT THE PRODUCT WAS EITHER NOT IN STOCK OR GOING TO BE DELIVERED

the internet advertised the tv with no stand, but had one on offer with the tv, so i purchased the stand. when the tv arrived i still couldnt stand the tv up because it didnt come with a pedestal, which the internet didnt state. three weeks after 1st purchasing the tv and 2 x tvs later they phoned to say i owed another £150. for the pedestal which i wasnt happy about!!!!!!!

The delivery system needs looking at. Buying the product was no problem, but when it came to delivering it that was another story. Product did not arrive on the day promised, after numerous phone calls I was fobbed off every time with lies and missinformation. several other delivery times were not honoured either.Finally got the product three days late and not the make ordered, accepted the order only as it was xmas present and was delivered on xmas eve!, didn't have a choice really.

After placing an order for an item that was reportedly in stock I received an e-mail telling me that this item was a 'special' item requiring customer services to contact me within 48 hours. Suspicious that this contact was going to be bad news, I contaced comet on their national rate number. After being on hold for 25 minutes I was cut off. On the second attempt I was passed form dept to dept until eventually I was told there was no stock available and furthermore, there was no timescale available to receive new stock. I cancelled the order, as there was no guarantee of a Xmas delivery.

slight problem with ordering. First try showed product out of stock for my postcode area. Following day product was in stock. Ordering was easy and delivery as stated.

Generally OK but don't appreciate the automatic junk emails which come as an unfortunate but inevitable result of doing business with them. Spoils the experience entirely.

Ordered in early December - first delivery on time but two of the three items were damaged and had to return. After a week received no contact so phoned and package had not got back to Comet. Original order was then cancelled and a new order made on the internet in order to secure delivery prior to Christmas - I was however unable to reorder the inkjet paper which had been a special offer.
Second delivery only one of the two items arrived - I called and Comet appeared unsure whether their warehouse had shipped the second part of the order separately. I was asked to wait a few days but after a week no delivery. I called again and had to wait for a third delivery - the ink & paper pack arrived slightly damaged. I had however had enough and decided to retain the item cellotaping it up so that it did not fall apart.
I consider Comet need to package the Epson ink and paper pack differently as the contents move inside the box and cause the box to split. Also the paper was in loose reams and should have been packaged so as not to split open and/or have been handled more carefully.
The saving grace was helpful and friendly staff. A small discount to reflect the time and trouble at my end would have helped. I will probably order from Comet again but possibly without the ancillary items such as the paper and ink as they need more careful handling.
