COMET

Ordered a top of the range hotpoint washer. No problems, over £100 less than any high street. Was expecting delivery at any time during selected day, it arrived at 8am and woke me up!!

I ordered a Bosch washing machine 2463 with Comet, tried over the internet but card not accepted. Rang to order over the phone, Comet took the order but said their was a delay with the card and would ring me within the hour if there was a problem. As she never rang back I assumed the machine has been ordered and would be delivered today. It never materialised!! Whan I rang Comet there was a record that the card had not been accepted. I was not informed. I have since reordered the machine and hopefully it will arrive on Monday. I live in hope.

Ordered Washing Machine on Thursday evening, requested delivery for following Monday. It arrived at 4.00 pm. Excellent service. They took away the old one too. Would recommend

Hotpoint Ultima WMA76W easily identified and ordered over the internet for delivery between 8am and 6pm on a Sunday. Written confirmation was followed by a call around midday on the day to say they would arrive within a few hours...delivery 7.30pm!!..couldn't find the address despite having my mobile number.

I ordered a iPAQ and Commet ask me what price they were selling it for on the web. Odered the goods, delivery was between 7.00am and 6.00pm it arrived at 5.45pm it just makes it a long day waiting surley with all modern equipment we should be given a 1 or 2 hour time slot! Waiting all day forgot to feed the cat and the cat messed in the kitchen, all in all a messy long smelly day.

Did what it said on the tin! Placed the order, chose the delivery time, fully expected it to be late, but pleasantly surprised. On time, box in one piece, in fact the camera arrived before the paper order conformation did!

I ordered a Sony P52 Digital Camara from Comet over the Internet. Following day delivery - never came. Phoned Comet following day and they said there was a problem with the card. Checked with bank no there wasn't a problem. Card then went through manually with a Tuesday delivery date. No offer of a monday date. Tuesday came and went with loads of phone calls checking whether it would be delivered. Promised next day delivery (Wednesday) nothing came. More phone calls waited untill 1800hrs nothing. All day i'd spoke with there liason guy who suggested nothing only wait. I suggested that I go to a store to pickup the product. Wouldn't accept that either. Now it's my wife's birthday and she has no present. No offer of compensation no i'll call you back sir and find out what is happening nothing. Wife not happy i'm not happy. I will NEVER shop with COMET again.

Very unhappy. I bought a Bosch SGGS56E02 dishwasher (or at least thought I had). The order was placed and confirmed ok - the process couldn't have been smoother. However, 2 days prior to the scheduled delivery date my order was cancelled by Comet

I bought a Sharp LC22SV2E LCD TV for a great saving (33%) however after paying extra for an early bird delivery (8-10am) I was called on the day & told the delivery would be in the afternoon not the morning as paid for. After 5 phone calls I was told there was nothing they could do and I would have to wait until there was another delivery to my area. No one made any effort until I mentioned I was moving back to Australia this weekend and unless they wanted to delivery it to Sydney I needed it in the next 2 days. Finally they agreed to send it the next day (so another morning off work) and it was still late and no mention of a refund for my premium delivery charge even though it was a day late! Not impressed.
