Picross DS offers the ultimate in light puzzle entertainment. Like finding the underlining ‘picture’ in a ‘crossword puzzle’, the goal in Picross DS is to fill a grid with squares and crosses in order to ‘paint’ a picture. Numbers at the head of the puzzles’ columns and rows signify how the grids need to be filled out, but it will take a sharp mind to figure out the solution - and some speedy fingers to defeat the competition.

Review: Its quite a shame because I quite like puzzle games but I was by no ones comparison 'wowed' by this game. The object is simple enough and is a good idea but I think they should have definatly incorporated some extras in here. Lacks in addictivness...

To cross or not to cross?

The Bottom Line: Great puzzle game for fans of Minesweeper and Crosswords. It's a nice alternative to other games.
Review: Picross DS is sort of a cross between Minesweeper and a Crossword. You are given a grid, numbers, and a hint (if needed). The object is to fill in the squares with either a block or an X which will gradually make a picture.

Review: Picross DS brings the picture-based puzzler to the ds. Game has a good interface and puzzles based on themes. Bigger puzzles do tend to take time to finish.
