The 32-bit PCI cards are fully auto-configurable upon power-up through the host computer's BIOS setup program. ??The 16-bit ISA cards, when installed in PnP (Plug and Play) computers, are ready to go as soon as you are. These cards are NE2000-compatible and ship with drivers for most popular network operating systems. The drivers are avail-able on SMC's installation diskette or Web site. Also, the cards have an on-board socket for an optional boot ROM.
