The Sony HDR-SR12 is a versatile and fully featured high definition camcorder. Featuring a myriad of ways to record and transfer video, you can be sure your memories are safe for the digital future. The HDR-SR12 utilizes amazing hybrid recording technology that allows you to record to the camcorder’s internal hard disk drive, or choose instead to record to removable Memory Stick Duo media or Memory Stick PRO Duo media. You can even select from various dubbing functions to easily copy video or still images from the hard disk drive to Memory Stick media, without using a PC. Images recorded or transferred to Memory Stick media can then be played directly on a PS3 or PC to share your memories with friends and family.

Breaktaking footage, excellent product!

Review: First, let me run briefly through the spec of the HDR-SR12E... HD footage, 5.1 surround sound recording, 7.6 MPixel still camera... what else do you need?!

At highest quality, the camera will take 1080i HD movies, which look fabulous on...

Sony HDR-SR 12 is better than 20/20 for recording video

The Bottom Line: This camera is excellent for obtaining what you see is what you get video. The large hard drive eliminates the need to worry about recording time.
