The Bottom Line: I was taking pictures right out of the shoot, yes there are more technical features to learn eventually, but you can also start taking great pics right away!
I received this camera for Christmas, after much research
I felt for a novice who was wanting to advance that this was the best camera out there. The Camera comes with a really good detailed information book that shows you what all the gadgets are on the camera. It comes with a great software program for loading pictures.
It also has a nice 2.5 inch LCD Screen that gives you a very good look at the pictures you are taking. It also has a self-cleaning sensor that automatically shakes any particles off the lens to keep your pictures crystal clear.
It has a self timer, 9 focus points on it to help you focus in at different depths depending on what you want to shoot.
I really like the fact that it is small enough that my hands can hold onto easily, any bigger and I would have probably had trouble keeping it still.I have had the camera for about 6 months and taken over 1000 pics so far and the memory is still going which is such a plus since the digital camera I had previously would only allow approx.15 good quality pics on its standard memory.
The only con is you will want to buy and experiment with new lens once you get bit by this bug! I'm looking at purchasing a telephoto lens now!
I am so pleased with this camera, it has not let me down at all.
