An okay camera

The Bottom Line: A graet camera with poor design.
This camera looked very impressive initially for the price I paid. There are many good features and its simple to use. Picture quality is superb, it takes some great shots under most circumstances. This one can accomodate some cheap SD cards. The camera is loaded with features including Face Detection technology and Red-eye Correction; it has fast response time . It s intuitive and is easily configured. Camera is 12 Mega Pixles, not many are available with the feature at this price. 3 inch LCD screen is quite big and impressive. The video quality of clips is great.
However, overall I can't seem to get a hang of this camera. I realized later that factory setting was around 8 mega pixel and that's what I used for a long time. The fingerprints are easily seen on screen and screen can easily be scratched. The camera size and parts design is not so sleek. The battery charging system is clumsy, has 2 to3 parts to connect to charge. The camera design is not cool ; It feels light but is wider than I like and feels bulky in pocket. I could not get used to it after owing a sleeker design from Cannon. The camera is functional but misses the cool factor, its not very appealing. So overall a great features but poor design.
