Best TV Ever

The Bottom Line: I definitely recommend this TV. Intuitive interface, simple remote, plenty of hookups, awesome picture, great resolution.
This has got to be one of the best TVs I ever owned. The picture is astonishing. Everything is crystal clear and the color is nice and rich. I never realized how plasma makes use of dark colors much better over LCD. LCDs always have that kind of light tint to them. Plasmas have no problems sustaining dark areas as well as the light. Plasmas also display standard def better over LCDs. So, like most cable providers, you always have a mix of HD and standard def. The plasma will display HD beautifully and still maintain a decent picture for standard def, which LCDs don't do well.
The remote is simple and I was even able to program it to work with my DVR, which is uncommon. My last TV was a Sony, their remote was a nightmare. There are plenty of hookups on the back for your Wii, XBox, PC, and of course your 1080p Sony Playstation 3.
There are several component outs on the back in addition to several HDMI and a VGA connection. Keep in mind only the 46in plasma comes with the VGA. The 42in doesn't.
I'm definitely recommending this TV. It has the best picture and resolution money can buy.
