Hi price, but Hi fidelity also

Date of Review:  Mar 1, 2005
The Bottom Line: Very high quality to match the price. Poor bass though. Bin the iPod standard earphones and splash out!
Review: I bought these to replace the earphones from my 20Gb iPod. Standard iPod earphones are like sticking tea cups in your ears, rather painful to say the least.

I had read that the quality from Shure is good. The E2C being the least expensive...

Not too bad, but you can do better

Date of Review:  Nov 25, 2006
The Bottom Line: Good for sound isolation, but not much for comfort and reliability.
Review: I bought these Shure E2C's because I listen to my iPod at work all most all day. I work construction, so the work environment is very noisy and I needed something that wouldn't make my ears hot (like the Bose headphones) but would still keep outside...

A Shure success

Date of Review:  Feb 4, 2006
The Bottom Line: I would recommend this to anyone look for a high quality, durable, and comfortable earbud.
Review: I have been using the Sony MDR-EX51LP since I purchased my iPod 4 months ago. The Sonys were nice, but I have had to replace them twice because of durability issues. It seems that wrapping the cord around an iPod is to much for them. After the...

Sounds great and saves your eardrums.

Date of Review:  Apr 8, 2005
The Bottom Line: For music lovers who appreciate good sound - meaning clean treble, mid and bass NOT blurred treble with loud thumping bass.
Review: The first thing you'll notice when you first try on these earphones is how they fit and feel differently than any other earphone you've ever tried before (assuming you've only worn regular earbud type earphones before). I was a bit overzealous when...

Great earbuds

Date of Review:  Jan 5, 2007
Review: I have to echo the other reviews here, just got a pair of these and they are the best I have had so far, they are also excellent at noise blocking

Great Design...Unacceptable Sound Quality For The Price

Date of Review:  Dec 25, 2007
The Bottom Line: I compared the E2C side-by-side with competing products and found their sound to be far inferior. Terrible bass, tinny mid and high range.
Review: It's a rare occasion when my personal experience with a product differs so greatly from that of other Epinion reviewers, but in regards to these earphones my experience was the polar opposite of nearly every reviewer.

My opinion and review...

Interesting turn of price with these

Date of Review:  Aug 22, 2009
Review: I must say, I found these on pricewatch about a year ago for a total of $7.50 a piece with shipping straight from Hong Kong and they turned out to be the best headphones I've ever owned. The round triangular piece of these phones fits in the "bowl"...
