The Bottom Line: Stay away from me
Alright I'm going ot break this down into pieces for everyone. Firstly I'd like to say some good things about this game. As games go? Very well put together story, creative and moderate to get into. As a sequel? It does a very good job of supporting itse;f as a contiuation. Now I would give this game a very different score if it was the only game of its kind. But its not, and in todays world its all about how this compares to other things. It's an alright game, but the thing is that it just doesn't hold up against other games. When you are inside the game if you've played any other online or fps of its kind today you will immediatly notice how badly things are rendered in 3-d when you simply move the screen.Things in your field of vision bend and flex awkwardly, objects seem to move on their own if you move around them. Even the levels that are set-up alright don't look taht spectacular, and for a game that is supposed to tote realism is rather shabbily put together. And what is the deal with walking everywhere, alright so swat teams don't run erywhere or into every room, but even when you're under fire you can't high tail it out of there cause you are just stuck in a slow foot shuffle. The weapons are realistic, but the sounds they make are lacking and sound muted in some way and the weapon animations themselves when you are reloading or firing looks sad and leaves something to be desired. Frankly Dark Forces looked/played better than this, and counter strike beats it in realism, and well as far as story, if you're looking for story in a game bestplayed (frankly) online w/ friends (which helps you overlook the baldspots) then you're looking in the wrong place becasue it doesn't offer story online. Anyway, there are just better games out there. Just don't bother
