The Bottom Line: I would heartily recommend this unit, but for the map accuracy. I am hoping this will be addressed as they have said it will. Until then, consider your needs carefully.
Review: I purchased my Tomtom 510 new from CircuitCity three months ago. I live in Boston, but travel frequently on business and take it with me.
Let me address the dreadful comment first. My biggest frustration is the accuracy of the maps for the USA...

2nd day would not turn on

Review: It worked fine the first day. On day 2 it just would not turn on. Will return the unit for a replacement. I hope the replacement unit does not have similar problem. Searching other reviews, I find others users have encountered similar problems!

Review: We now call this 'TomTom' 510 "JunkJunk".

In any city in the US, it takes 10-15 minutes to acquire and lock onto a GPS signal/satellite. The map was 3 blocks off, which in a city is huge.

On my iMac the TomTom software crashes...
